Give a pint and get some tunes!

Register now and get a CD
They’ve done it again! The Shenandoah County Fair and the American Red Cross have teamed up with the Fair’s great lineup of entertainers to reward your good deed with a free CD! In 2008 over 25 pints of blood were collected at the Fair when Foreigner donated CDs to this great cause. This year all those who register to give blood on Sept. 4th will get a CD from one of the great super stars appearing from August 30th through Sept. 4th. America leading the way with 20 CDs, along with Kenny Rogers, Jamey Johnson and Julianne Hough have all contributed to let you know they appreciate local blood donors. “We were happy to put together this great program again this year. The citizens of this county are always looking for a way to contribute to the greater good. The CDs are a way for the entertainers to show their appreciation for this expression of brotherly love.” a Fair representative said.
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be on site from 2 PM until 7 PM wrapping it up just before the
U.S. Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team jumps into the small arena across from the grandstand. Donors have the chance to stay for the Kenny Rogers concert at 7:30 PM and meet the Golden Knights team members after the show. Sign up to give the gift of life by going to ShenCoFair.com and clicking on the dancing Red Cross or call the Shenandoah County American Red Cross office at 540-459-2913.
How could you ask for more exciting night? Good deed, great food, great shows, great music, good cause. A night the whole family is sure to enjoy.
