Tamara Carruthers Wayside Theater’s Costume Designer on WSVG

I had the enjoyable experience of chatting with Tamara Carruthers today about her fascinating job as the resident costume designer for the second longest running theater in the state of Virginia. What a delighted person.

Tamara has been with the Wayside Theater in Middletown for the past 8 years.

Tamara’s costumes are always right on the money due to her extensive research and her ability to draw on donated wardrobe pieces as well as to purchase or make costumes.
