Women Celebrating Women 1st Sunday of every month

If you live within driving, walking or snowmobiling range of Strasburg, VA consider yourself invited to Women Celebrating Women on the first Sunday of every month. Bring a dish to share and a female friend if you choose. Each month we meet many interesting ladies and then focus on the life and talents of a particular woman. Women from all walks of life come together to find our common ground. Diversity is encouraged so don’t be afraid to bring your grouchy grandmother or your wild 19 year old daughter. We all have something to contribute to each others lives.

6 PM the first Sunday of each month.

Marcy McCann writes in various forms including an online column Adventures along Route 11, a collection of observations about her travels along Virginia’s historic corridor. Currently (for the third and final year) the Interim Fair Manager of the Shenandoah County Fair in Woodstock, Virginia, Marcy spends her spare time restoring a 200 year old brick Federal home in neighboring Strasburg. The first in her series of children’s books geared to bridging gaps in families undergoing change highlights the positive side of belonging to a stepfamily.
